District and taluka control rooms operational all night reviewing the situation
The state health department took stock of the situation by holding a video conference at midnight on Monday. Chief District Health Officer Dr Surendra Jain and a team of health officials provided all the information.
The conference lasted for about an hour and special instructions were given for the care of the patients undergoing treatment especially in the Covid Care Centers. The health officials then visited the CCC and confirmed the presence of the Talatis and staff.
The District Control Room at Vadodara and the Taluka Control Room were operational all night for the second day in a row. Liaison officers maintained constant contact with the district control room. This condition is most often caused by heavy rainfall during the monsoons. This was the first time that this situation had arisen before the monsoon.
