    Steps taken to maintain cleanliness at the terminal and inside buses

    ST department in Vadodara swung into action and take precautionary steps to prevent Coronavirus. Steps are taken to maintain cleanliness at the terminal and buses are washed with detergents. Curtains are also removed from the AC and sleeper buses and utmost care is taken during the operation of buses from the terminal. The administration is also spread awarenesses in passengers and well as drivers to wash hands frequently as a preventive step before the journey.

    COVID 19 is spreading quickly in many countries and government the taking every precautions to tame it. India is also taking steps to control the Pandemic and issued instructions to local administration, railways, ST and other important departments to maintain hygiene.

    After the top level meeting the ST administration is taking every step to prevent Coronavirus and maintain hygiene as per government guidelines. Detergent washing inside the buses is carried on along with removal of curtains in AC and sleeper buses. Driver steering, stands inside the buses and in the terminal are cleaned with disinfectant. Seats are also cleaned before the journey along with the handles and foot rest as preventive measures.

    Furthermore the administration is working on two way action to prevent the virus. First is to clean the bus and stations and second is to spread awareness in passengers as well as drivers to maintain hygiene. Passengers are requested not to touch the handles frequently while sitting inside the bus and in waiting area. Hand washing are keeping mandatory for the drivers and passengers at regular intervals. LED screens at the depot are flashing the awareness messages regularly in view of the Coronavirus and request people to maintain hygiene rather than panic.
