Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur congratulates paddler Sreeja Akula for winning World Table Tennis Feeder Women's Singles in Texas, USA

Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur has congratulated paddler Sreeja Akula for winning the World Table Tennis Feeder Women's Singles in Texas, USA. 

In a social media post, Mr. Thakur said that Akula has scripted history by becoming the first Indian to win a title in any of the senior World Table Tennis event.

He added that Akula has created a legacy for herself and the nation with this achievement.

Akula defeated USA’s Lily Zhang 3-0 in straight games in the final.
