Union Minister Anurag Thakur lauds Sahil Thakur on becoming flag bearer at 4th edition of Winter Youth Olympics in Gangwon, Korea

Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur today lauded Sahil Thakur on becoming the flag bearer at the fourth edition of the Winter Youth Olympics in Gangwon, Korea. 

In a social Media Post, Anurag Singh Thakur said that he is the country’s sole representative at the event. 

He added the 16-year-old alpine skier follows in the footsteps of greatness and has become the only 3rd Indian to grace this prestigious event. 

Union Minister further said that the ascend of athletes from Himachal Pradesh paints a positive narrative. He added, that emerging talent from the Himalayan abode is contributing to our nation's Winter Sports legacy.
