In the Turkish Women's Cup 2024 Football, India beat Estonia by 4-3 at the Gold City Sports Complex in Alanya, Turkey yesterday. 

This was the first win for the Indian women’s football team in an official match against a team from the UEFA Confederation.

For India, Manisha Kalyan netted twice while Indumathi Kathiresan and Pyari Xaxa scored one goal each. Estonia's goals came from Vlada Kubassova, Mari-Liis Lillemae, and Lisette Tammik.

India, with a ranking of 65, is the highest-ranked side in the four-nation football championship, along with Estonia, Hong Kong, and Kosovo.

In their next match, the Indian women’s football team will face Hong Kong on Saturday.
