Silver Medal in National Junior Gymnastics to a student of Sports Training Center, Vadodara

Gymnast Nareshji Thakor of CA Patel Learning Institute Mota Fofalia under DLSS scheme of Vadodara District Sports Sub Coaching Center has made Gujarat State proud by winning Silver Medal in Junior Level National Competition of Gymnastics.

In the state level competition organised by Gujarat Gymnastics Association, Thakor Nareshji, a student of DLSS Gymnastics of Mota Fofalia, got second rank in all round performance and later competed in the national level junior competition held at Jammu from 21/11/2021 to 26/11/2021. Total 600 players from 21 states of India participated in the competition where Nareshji won silver medal for his excellent performance in the parallel bars event.

In addition to the medal, Nareshji has been selected for the upcoming Khelo India competition. Gujarat Gymnastics Association office bearers Kaushik Bidiwala and Ranjit Vasava were present during the entire competition and provided encouragement to the players and the Gujarat team.

Senior coach of Sport Authority of Gujarat, Vadodara District Sports Sub Coaching Center Jayesh Bhalawala congratulate the Player and Coach Sumit Kharpas for the achievement. As a result of intensive training given by coach Sumit Kharpas and trainer Rajesh Meghwal under DLSS scheme, Gujarat State has got a medal in gymnastics competition.
