RCB start their IPL 2023 season with thumping 8-wicket victory over Mumbai Indians

Last night, Royal Challengers Bangalore got a thumping eight-wicket victory against Mumbai Indians at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Royal Challengers Bangalore chased the victory target of 172 runs for 2 in 16.2 overs. Faf du Plessis who made 73 off 43 balls, was declared Player of the Match.

Earlier, in the other match yesterday, Rajasthan Royals defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 72 runs at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

Chasing the victory target of 204 runs, Sunrisers Hyderabad made 131 for 8 in stipulated 20 overs.

Jos Buttler of Rajasthan Royals was adjudged Player of the Match for scoring 54 runs in 22 balls.
