In the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), two matches are scheduled today. In the first match, the Delhi Capitals will be locking horns with the Mumbai Indians at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai at 3:30 PM.
In the second encounter, Punjab Kings will clash with Royal Challengers Bangalore at 7:30 pm at DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai.
IPL, kicked off in Mumbai yesterday evening. In the Opening match, Kolkata Knight Riders beat Defending Champions Chennai Super Kings by six wickets at the Wankhede Stadium last night.
Put into bat first, Chennai scored 131 runs for the loss of five wickets in the stipulated 20 overs riding on MS Dhoni's unbeaten fifty off 38 balls. For Kolkata Umesh Yadav picked two wickets.
In reply, Kolkata overhauled the target for four wickets in 18.3 overs with the help of Ajinkya Rahane's 44 off 34 balls. For Chennai, Dwayne Bravo took three wickets.
