Indonesian Open Badminton 2022, India's HS Prannoy will take on Angus Ng Ka Long of Hong Kong later in the day for a place in the quarterfinals. In Men's doubles, pair of Dhruv Kapila and MR Arjun will take on China's unseeded Liu Yu Chen and Ou Xuan Yi.

Earlier India's Sameer Verma lost to World No. 3 Lee Zii Jia of Malaysia in men's singles 10-21, 13-21.

In women's doubles, Indian duo of Ashwini Ponnappa and Sikki Reddy also lost to China's top seed Chen Qing Chen and Jia Yi Fan in straight sets- 21-16, 21-13.
