India vs South Africa 2nd Test Day 1: India opts to bat

In the 2nd cricket Test, India were 36/ 0 against South Africa at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, when reports last came in.

Earlier India have won the toss and opted to bat. In a shocking development, Virat Kohli is out of this Test due to a back spasm and his deputy, KL Rahul, has been named captain for this game. Hanuma Vihari has replaced him in the playing XI. On the other hand, Dean Elgar's South Africa have made two changes; bringing in Kyle Verryenne and Duanne Olivier for Quinton De Kock and Wianne Mulder, respectively.

If India wins this test, it will be the first-ever Indian team to win a Test series in South Africa. Johannesburg pitch has been quite favourable for the visitors in the past as they have never lost a single match at the Wanderers, in fact, India have won two test matches in the past while three test matches ended in a draw.
