India to begin AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers against Brunei Darussalam today

In Football, India will open its campaign in the AFC Under-17 Asian Cup qualifiers against Brunei Darussalam today.

The match is scheduled to start at 2:30 pm IST at Chonburi Stadium in Thailand.

 The Indian U-17 team is under the guidance of head coach Ishfaq Ahmed. The Blue Tigers are drawn into Group D for the qualifiers.

The group consists of Thailand, Brunei Darussalam, and Turkmenistan.

The qualification phase consists of 10 groups, from which the group winners and the five best second-placed teams will advance at the AFC U-17 Asian Cup 2025. India will aim to secure a spot in the tournament for the fourth consecutive time.
