Hockey Men’s World Cup, four matches are scheduled for today with two matches each in pool B and pool C.
In pool B matches, Belgium will clash with Korea and Germany will take on Japan at Bhubaneswar. In Pool C matches at Rourkela today, New Zealand will take on Chile and Netherlands will be up against Malaysia.
Yesterday, India defeated Spain 2-0 in its opening matche at Rourkela. Indian vice-captain, Amit Rohidas and Hardik Singh scored one goal each to register an easy win for hosts. In other matches, England thrashed Wales 5-0 and Australia beat France 8-0 in their first pool matches after Argentina defeated South Africa 1-0 in the opening match of the tournament.
