The FIFA U-17 Women World Cup India 2022 kick starts from Odisha capital Bhubaneswar today. Union Minister for Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting and Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur and Union Minister for Law and Justice Kiren Rijiju will grace the inaugural ceremony of this historic event at the iconic Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
India is hosting this tournament for the first time. The iconic Kalinga stadium in capital Bhubaneswar will witness two matches- first between Morocco and Brazil from 4.30 in the afternoon and between the host India and the USA at 8 pm.
Navi Mumbai and Goa also are the two other venues of this FIFA tournament. Kalinga stadium will have the honour of hosting all the group state matches featuring India against USA today, against Morocco on the 14th October, and against Brazil on the 17th of October.
A total of 16 teams are taking part in this tournament that will draw to a close by the end of this month.
