Davis Cup: Indian mixed doubles pair of Rohan Bopanna & Yuki Bhambri defeats Moroccan pair of Elliot Benchetrit & Younes Lalami Laaroussi in Lucknow

Davis Cup World Group II match, Indian mixed doubles pair of Rohan Bopanna and Yuki Bhambri defeated Moroccan pair of Elliot Benchetrit and Younes Lalami Laaroussi 6-2, 6-1 in Lucknow today.

With this victory, India leads 2-1 against Morocco. In the reverse Singles, Sumit Nagal will play Yassine Dlimi and Sasikumar Mukund will face Adam Moundir After this match.

Yesterday, both countries leveled 1-1 as Nagal defeated Adam Moundir 6-3, 6-3 and Mukund conceded his singles match 7-6 (4), 5-7, 1-4 to Morocco's Dlimi. 

A victory against Morocco can qualify the Indian tennis team for the World Group I playoffs, scheduled for February next year. 

A win in that tie can lead India back to Davis Cup World Group.
