India's Priyanshu Rajawat and HS Prannoy stormed into the Men's Singles semifinals of the Australian Open in Sydney today.
Orleans Masters champion Priyanshu defeated senior compatriot Kidambi Srikanth 21-13, 21- 8 in the quarterfinals.
Sixth seed Prannoy overpowered World Number 2 and reigning Olympic medalist Anthony Ginting 16-21, 21-17, 21-14 in a clash of last eight.
However, Two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu crashed out of the tournament after losing to World No. 12 Beiwen Zhang of the United States 12-21, 17-21 in Women's Singles quarterfinals.
