Abhishek Saini of India won the men's singles title at the Bangladesh International Challenge badminton competition here, defeating compatriot Rithvik Sanjeevi in straight games in the final.
Saini defeated Sanjeevi 21-15 21-18 in 34 minutes in the final on Sunday.
Saini defeated fellow Indian Kartikey Gulshan Kumar 17-21 21-15 21-15 in the semifinals, while Sanjeevi, a trainee at Hatsun Badminton Centre in Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu, defeated Indonesia's Sulistio Tegar 21-13 19-21 21-14.
Mehreen Riza and Arathi Sara Sunil of India won the women's doubles tournament, defeating Malaysia's Kasturi Radhakrishnan and Venosha Radhakrishna in the final 22-20 21-12.
Pratik Ranade and Akshaya Warang of India lost 15-21 18-21 to Sachin Dias and Kavidi Sirimannage of Sri Lanka in the mixed doubles final.
In the semifinals, Pratik Ranade and Akshaya Warang defeated countrymen Nazeer Khan and Nila Valluvan 21-16 21-18.
