During the last two days, a special drive was carried out by the Vadodara City Police to take effective and result-oriented action against those who do not wear masks. The drive is to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and to create awareness among the people.
As part of which police inspectors of all police stations in Vadodara city formed separate teams of officers and employees in the their area and carried out intensive checking on public roads. A total of Rs. 10 lakh was collected from 1000 persons and action taken against 60 persons for violations of curfew and breach of declaration.
The police Commissioner appeals to the citizens of Vadodara to wear good compulsory masks and maintain social distance to prevent the spread of Covid 19 and to co-operate in enforcing the curfew.
