SOG busted a liquor godown at Kapurai

Vadodara SOG team busted a godown situated near Kapurai crossroads used for storing liquor belongs to listed bottleger Vikram Chavda. The SOG team in a span of 20 hours seized his two liquor consignments in Tarsali and Kapurai crossroads areas.

On 2^nd April the SOG team first intercepted a van in Tarsali area of Vadodara city and recovered liquor worth 1,50,000 from inside a van used for delivery. The liquor belongs to listed bottleger Vikram Chavda.Within 20 hours the SOG team raided at the rented godown at Kapurai crossroads used to store liquor coming from different places. The godown belongs to the same listed bottleger Vikram Chavda and a consignment was unloaded by the carier when the police strikes. The police arrested Ajaysinh Chauhan from the spot along with 60 boxes of liquor inside from the godown worth 2,41,200 from there.In both the cases different offences were registered against the bottleger and others in Tarsali and Wadi police stations. Vikram Chavda residing in Vaikunth society in Waghodia road is involved in liquor trade and has many cases against them in various police stations. He was also served PASA in 2012 and 2013 in the past.
