SOG arrested scrap dealer for bike theft

Vadodara SOG team arrested a scrap dealer who stole bikes dismantle them and sold the parts in scrap. Sabrahusain Momin from Tandalja area confessed to stole around 25 to 30 bikes and stole them in scrap after dismantle them at his shop.

The accused Sabrahusain Momin has rent a shop at Jagannathpuram complex near Lalbaug bridge and runs his business from there. The SOG team received the information about him dismantling the bikes in his shop which later he sell in scrap. The team reached the spot and he was caught red handed by the police team.During primary interrogation he said that his father runs scrap business at Fatehpura area and he was assisting him there. During that time he learned to dismantle bikes. In 2014 he love marriage but his father don’t accept and he moved to a rented house in Tandalja area of the city.

He rent a shop near Lalbaug bridge and started his own scrap business there for the last seven months. But the business was not running well and the dues were also increasing on him. He then decided to stole bikes and targeted the old and breakdown vehicles and stole them after done proper reiki on them. He then dismantle the vehicles at his shop and sold them in scrap later.

He accepted to steal 25 to 30 bikes in last three months from various areas of Vadodara city. Earlier in the year he was arrested by Anand SOG with stolen bike from Ahmedabad and later released on bail.
