Muslim girls put mehndi on their hands

It’s a perfect example of communal harmony where Muslim school girls in Vadodara put Mehndi on the hands of little girls observe Gauri Vrat. The occasion was dryfruit distribution to the fasting girls by Social worker Nishita Rajput.

Nishita is known for helping needy girls in their education and also celebrate different festivals with them. On the first day of Gauri Vrat she distributed dryfruits to the girls as they fast for the whole day. 51 Muslim girls from RNK Pandya high school put Mehndi on hands of the fasting girls and spread the message of communal harmony.

“Every year I distribute dryfruits to the fasting girls and celebrate the festival with them. The Muslim girls put Mehndi on their hands which considered to be auspicious and that also spread the beautiful message of communal harmony,” said Nishita. She also give gifts to the Muslim girls and celebrate the occasion with great enthusiasm.
