Celebrate with birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, who gave the world a smile of peace and non-violence

The innocent smile on the face is a global treat of warm welcome. Did you know that World Smile Day is celebrated on the first Friday of October every year?

In 1963, commercial artist Harvey Bole created the world-famous Smiley which has become a symbol of smiles today. This day is celebrated by the Harvey Ball Foundation in memory of his creation.

The Chandarana Dental Museum established by Dr. Yogesh Chandarana, a renowned dentist in Vadodara, celebrates World Smile Day to spread the happiness in such difficult times.

Dr. Chandarana says that Mahatma Gandhi gave the world a wonderful gift of a smile of truth, non-violence and peace. Coincidentally, the first Friday in October is Gandhi Jayanti this year. This is a wonderful coincidence.

The mysterious smile of Mona Lisa is famous in the world whose secret no one can know yet. The baby cries when born and that brings smiles on the faces of parents, family members, doctors and nurses. Thus, the beginning of life becomes the cause of a smile.

Harvey-created smileys are inscribed on postage stamps by the nations of the world. Countless postage stamps have been issued by the countries of the world with the smiles of famous men, famous artists, prince and princess, children and women.

The smiley that Harvey Bole created was also intended to connect the world with affection and joy, regardless of race, gender or geography. And one more thing, the pull of the teeth and muscles of mouth on the face gives a different kind of smile.
