Beauty parlor owner Sonal Revati started business with strict precautions

After the decision of giving relaxations by the state government, business and employment in Vadodara gaining momentum amid lockdown. Taking strict precautions and maintaining social distancing the things are slowly getting back to normal as people learn to live with the Coronavirus till a vaccine is developed.

Sonal Revati runs Revati Parlor for Ladies at Uma Char Rasta at Waghodia Road area of ​​Vadodara. The state government has allowed businesses and employment to run on conditions amid the lockdown, so that people get service and professionals get employment.

Sonal is running the parlour business for last ten years and the customers get prior appointment before to visit the parlour. However the lockdown forced the parlour to close and now it starts once again after the government give relaxations and allowed the businesses to reopen with strict measures.

She said, at present customers are getting appointments but due to maintain social distancing the numbers are less comparing to the earlier before the lockdown. She wear the whole PPE kit along with gloves and masks to give service and use a waxing method instead of threading for the eyebrows to avoid more contact and touch.

Maintaining the strict precautionary mesures her parlor is sanitized three times before starting and after that she maintained the routine and her parlour is sanitized three times a day everyday. Before entering the parlour the helper, customers and Sonal herself washed their hands. We issue guidelines for everyone and is required to come wearing a mask. Sonal said, she wear PPE kits, gloves and masks before attending the customers.

The state government has announced a loan of Rs. 1 lakh which will benefit the borrowers as the government will repay 6% of the loan and the borrower has to pay only 2% interest. Furthermore the installment will start after six months and the amount is very low. Therefore it is useful for those who are getting small employment and useful in small and big expenses including rent. Sonal thanked the government for the decision and said that it will help the business like her to stand again.

She said, even after the lockdown and corona she will take all precautionary measures in the same way. This kind of precautions is necessary to stay safe in this present time. We are now used to everything including masks, hand gloves and continue to be careful in future for the safety of herself, helpers and the customers.

Janaki Patel a customer visited Revati Parlor said, the parlor service currently can be availed after the relaxations by the state government. Sonal has taken all precautionary measures and attend them after wearing kits, gloves and masks. She also sanitised her parlor thrice a day to maintain the safety standards.
