Nandurbar safely on Thursday morning
Under the
guidance of District Collector Shalini Agarwal, the Vadodara district
administration is not only taking care of the workers but also of the students
of other states. From providing them every possible step during lockdown they
make arrangements for their safe returns to their native states.
In one such
initiative the district administration woke up till 3am to make arrangements
for the students of Maharashtra. Nodal Officer and Deputy Collector RP Joshi
said, the efforts are to send back about 300 students from Maharashtra to their
state.
As these students are studying in various educational institutions, on the instructions of District Collector, they coordinate with the institutions at various levels and also with the Government of Maharashtra for their safe return. After all the process nearly 300 students return home in nine buses towards Nandurbar.
All students
reached Nandurbar early morning on Thursday. Deputy Collector R.P. Joshi
informed, the administration is in constant touch with the students and all the
students including girls reached Nandurbar safely. From there the Maharashtra
government will provide buses for them to reach there destinations. The local
administration of Maharashtra thanked the Vadodara district administration for
their efforts.
