Shankarrao thanked SSG hospital to save his life from life threatening Coronavirus

Gave new life to him by giving 10 liters of oxygen and necessary expensive medicines every minute for about four to five days

Shankarrao Sukhdev Gohin is one of the millions of ordinary people in the city and earn his living with daily work.

Administrative Nodal Officer of Sayaji Hospital Covid Department Dr. O.B. Belim recalling Shankarrao’s condition at the time of his admission. He said that he was suffering from severe shortness of breath, cough and high fever. Oxygen level had dropped to 84 percent.

He was moved straight from the emergency department to the covid ICU and placed on oxygen. He was in such a critical condition that when he had to be given 10 liters of oxygen per minute, his breathing would continue.

Experienced doctors and nursing staff at Sayaji Hospital know that they were determined to save Shankarrao’s life and defeat the stubborn Corona at any cost. Shankarrao’s CT scan was done and the score was good and high. Viral load was found to be higher in RTPCR. Corona made a python-like bruise on his lungs.

However, the peculiarity of skilled doctors and compassionate nursing staff is that they do not give up till the last minute and use their medical knowledge to save the life of the patient.

The same thing happened in the case of Shankarrao. Ramdesivir injections and expensive antibiotics continued for 5 days and they used all his skills and knowledge to drive Corona out of Shankarrao’s lungs and body.

Eventually their efforts paid off and from the 7th day his condition started improving. Today he is feeling much better and moving in the ward. The possibility of discharge him getting is approaching soon.

Shankarrao, who is overwhelmed with good treatment, says that treatment, cleanliness, eating everything is good in Sayaji.He lost consciousness due to Corona. According to an estimate, in a private hospital, the treatment would cost them more than Rs 10 lakh at the rates set by the government, so as the cost of medicines.

Dr. Belim says that all the arrangements have been streamlined under the guidance of Officer on Special Duty and Education Secretary Dr. Vinod Rao. The question of oxygen supply has been resolved and that is why noble treatment has become possible in complex cases.

But in Sayaji, Shankarrao has got such a complex and expensive treatment almost for free and he is an example. All the necessary care is taken here for patients to free them from corona for the last 6 months.
