Shahrukh khan starts his train journey to Delhi

King Khan is busy these days on promotion for his film ‘Raees’ scheduled to be release on 25th January. Returned from Dubai after the promotion of the film the whole team including Shahrukh khan out for Delhi for the promotion of his much awaited film. This time the King Khan prefers to visit by train and he left for Delhi on board August Kranti express.

A warm welcome was given to the King Khan on his arrival at Mumbai Central where he board the train. Shahrukh khan and his team received the royal welcome at the station before they board the train to promote his film in a unique way.

Shahrukh khan made a special place in the hearts of his fans with train sequences in films like DDLJ, KKHH, Ra One, Chennai Express and now he went out again for promotion of his upcoming film.

The team make preparations for the train journey as the King Khan plays a character in the film which is connected to its roots. By this journey he easily connects with masses as there is a deep connection of people and trains in India.

In addition Shahrukh khan complete 25 years in the industry and during his starting days he himself travelled by train from Delhi to Mumbai. By this the King Khan refresh his memories.

Film director Rahul Dholakia and producer Ritesh Sidhwani also accompanying the Badshah and the train will reach Hazrat Nizamuddin at 10.55 am in the morning on Tuesday.

1. Srk on being travelling in train after log gap?

I am really happy yaar, I had come first time to Mumbai in train, I have heard its a 17 hours journey so I am very excited and a bit of nervous too because after a long time I will be travelling from train, once or twice I had been out with my kids, its a very big journey but I think we will have fun as Raees’s full team is there, we will have fun in the journey.

2. Any memories from past pertaining to train?

I had gone to see the Taj Mahal from my first income in train, the first time I had come to Mumbai, When I was in Delhi i used to travel a lot in train and I had also travelled in train during Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.

3. When asked on being nervous as a lot is expected from Raees?

When the world has made you a star, they should have expectations from you, if they dont have expectations from us then whom will they have expectations from? I am not nervous, Its a different film, it has some substance, it has some masala, so it will mix well, its a new type of film, Inshahallah everyone may like this film, I am happy that the film is getting advance booking all over the world, I feel this a good film and will be liked by people.

4. Is there any scene in the film relating to the film?

There is one scene in the film in train where I sit and eat Biryani.

5. Your DDLJ train scene, did you really think that scene would become that iconic?

No yaar i did not think that time that this scene would become so iconic, the scene was shot in a village and was shot in hurry, I did not think that the scene will become so iconic.

6. On being asked a couple getting married on the release date of Raees .

I have heard some one is getting married on the release of Raees and I wish them all the best for their marriage.
