Laced with theatrical performances, design interventions, restoration projects and public art initiatives, the 'Serendipity Arts Festival' is set to showcase an array of arts and cultures existing in India and the subcontinent.

The eight-day art festival begins in Panaji on December 16 along Mandovi river.

The event, which is India's first interdisciplinary arts festival, will serve as an inclusive and collaborative platform for the promotion of arts and culture from the subcontinent on an international level.

Various renowned artists like classical vocalist Shubha Mudgal, theatre personalities Lilette Dubey and Anuradha Kapur, author Mahesh Dattani, and fashion designers Wendell Rodricks and Rohit Bal will be present during the festival.
