Taught students teachers the technique of using plastic bottles to prepare the innovative vertical garden

It’s a important workshop for the students to learn the vertical garden concept using plastic bottles from the Green man of Ludhiana Rohit Mehra. The Indian Revenue Officer who made conservation of environment his goal in life taught the students and teachers of Vadodara the technique of using plastic bottles to prepare the innovative vertical garden.

The environment awareness workshop at Baroda High School was attended by students, teachers to learn the technique of seed balls and vertical gardens. Even mayor of Vadodara Dr. Jigishaben Sheth also tried her hands in the workshop and learn the art to prepare the vertical gardens using plastic bottles. The event was organised by Lions Club of Baroda (Main) under Green Clean Vadodara initiative.

The Green Man of Ludhiana posted as Joint Commissioner in the Income tax have been recognised by the Limca Book of Records twice for his work towards saving the environment. His concept of ‘Green Plastic’ is slowly spreading out to the other states and aware people to accept the concept of vertical garden using plastic bottles.

He is said to be the pioneer of Vertical Gardens, Seedballs, Panchvati and Vedic Vana in India. He has made 175 Vertical Gardens in last three and half years at schools, hospitals, temples, Gurudwaras and even one at the Golden Temple with waste plastic bottles. He reused 45 tones of plastic bottles till now and planted 6.05 lakh plants towards his initiative. He holds 2 Limca book records, one for largest Vertical Garden of India and other for making 3 lakh seedballs in one day. He also use the technology at Ludhiana railway station and also started the initiative at other places, offices and buildings. He distributed 11 lakh seed balls in last three years and 3 lakh Tulsi balls as Prasad in Jagannath Rathyatra.
