Schedule 1 Mongoose rescued from a transportation truck

Volunteers of GSPCA Vadodara saved a Mongoose from a car transportation truck. The Schedule 1 animal was seen inside the truck after the cars were unloaded and later it was rescued by the animal care activists.

The brown coloured Mongoose is rarely seen nowadays and the animal care activists rescued it from the transportation truck in Vadodara. They recieved the call from the showroom people unloading the cars late last night.

"The animal falls under Schedule 1 and rarely seen nowadays. But it was surprising to see the people who were loaded the truck didn't seen the animal stuck inside. We requested them to please check inside before load anything in their trucks. We rescued the Mongoose after the call and now handover it to the forest department," said Raj Bhavsar of GSPCA.
