SBI branch at Choksi bazaar in Padra closed after 12 employees including branch manager tested Corona positive

State Bank of India (SBI) branch at Choksi bazaar in Padra closed after reports of 12 employees, including the branch manager, came as Corona positive.

As per available details the report of 9 permanent and 4 temporary employees came as positive of Coronavirus and as a precautionary measure the bank is closed for public and till further notice.

All operations in the branch except check clearing and government currency were stopped. A board was put up outside the bank for customers to go to another branch.

In order to avoid inconvenience to the customers, a facility has been set up at the branch of SBI at Arihant Complex, another branch of the bank.
