    Selection in appreciation of implementation of educational programs of the State Government including quality improvement of primary education

    Teacher through education plays an important role in shaping the society and appreciating their devotion is considered to be a joyous ocassion and pride for the society.

    A similar event has happened for Vadodara district, where a CRC coordinator in Bhadarva cluster of Savli taluka, Mukesh K. Sharma has been selected in the list of best teachers of the state.

    It is to be noted that every year the state government selects hardworking gurus as the best teachers in various categories and honours them on 5th September as a tribute to the late  Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Former President of India, a bright inspiration for every teacher.

    Mukesh Sharma has been selected in BRC cadre for this award and it should be noted that he is the first teacher of Gujarat and Vadodara district of the year 2020 to be selected as the best teacher in this category. It is after 20 years in Savli taluka, that a teacher from here is selected for this award.

    Mukesh Sharma has been selected for this award in recognition of his passion for Pragya approach, Gunotsav, girls education and school enrollment as well as implementation of the state government approaches and programs to broaden and enhance the quality of education.

    Over the last 9 years, as a trainer he mentored more than 1200 teachers in the areas of enhancing the quality of education, creating an educational environment in schools, connecting people to schools and providing various facilities in schools through community collaboration, making language education effective. 

    He has represented the state by participating in various national level seminars organised in New Delhi and Bhopal and has served as a Master Trainer.

    Sharma said that he has been working in the field of primary education for 27 years following the motto of Karma Hi Dharma. Not only education but he also performed his duties in natural calamities, elections held at different levels assigned by the government with dedication. He said the recognition gives a new found inspiration in him.

    The first Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya of Vadodara district has been started in Desar taluka to maintain the continuity of girls education. Sharma has made significant contributions in various activities including nomination of the school.

    Sharma also works as a Corona Warrior and has provided coordination and training services in the district Covid Army of teachers formed under the inspiration of the Education Secretary.

    He has made significant contributions in the areas of reading, writing, growth in arithmetic skills, mission Vidya, implementation of cards method, implementation of RTE, becoming a mentor to teachers through articles in various teacher useful journals including Shikshak Jyoti.

    He was earlier selected as the BRC Co-Coordinator of the best teacher cadre at the district level in 2015 and in 2017 for the National Conference on Innovation.

    He said, the heart and mind of the teacher should be like a constant student. Working with the goal of holistic development of students makes teaching profession successful.

     He thanked the District Collector, District Development Officer, District Primary Education Officer, Education Committee officials and the students, their parents, villagers and fellow teachers for their support.

    The feeling of happiness has spread in Bhadarva village and Savli taluka after his selection.
