Sarla Shah thanked medical team of Samras hospital after discharged from 25 days of intensive and careful treatment

Admitted as the first patient in the hospital and put her on the BI PAP

Sarla Shah, 67 got emotional while discharged after 25 days of intensive care at Samras Hostel Hospital. She offered heartfelt prayers to all the doctors, madams, sisters, servants and staff for taking good care of her. They have taken care of her like a baby and she didn't face any problems during the treatment.

She said that after fully sure the doctors discharged her from the hospital. Meals, buttermilk, milk are all provided here on time. The entire treatment is free, Hygiene is very good and the behavior of the staff is courteous.

Officer on Special Duty Dr. Vinod Rao recalled, At the peak of Second Wave, on 20th April most ICU Beds in SSG and Gotri Hospitals were occupied. Their team worked day and night and activated ICU at Samras Hospital post- midnight at 1.30 am and installed Five Ventilators around 2 am, 21st April. Around the same time he received a frantic call from Ronak Shah who urgently wanted BIPAP support for his mother. He and Dr Shital Mistry coordinated with Doctors at Samras Hospital and his mother Sarla Shah, age 67 was admitted at 3 am in Samras Hospital ICU and immediately put on Ventilator for BIPAP support.

Expressing his happiness Dr. Rao said, today we are delighted to see Sarla fully recover and discharged after 25 days. Congratulations to all at Team SSG and Samras for making this possible. We consider all our friends in Media as part of our extended Team in our collective battle against COVID. In the last one year, whenever any member of our Team Media reached out for any help, we have tried to extend every possible help. We will continue to do this wholeheartedly in the coming months too. Together as a Team we can help the city overcome this crisis and defeat COVID.
