On the occasion of the 7th death anniversary of former mayor Padma Shri Dr. VC Patel, Sanjeev Medical Trust and Vadodara City Congress Committee distributes masks in various areas of the city. They also spread the message of wearing masks and keep social distancing to fight against the Coronavirus.

The teams distribute masks in various areas of Vadodara city such as Chhani Jakatnaka Circle, Abhilasha Char Rasta, Sama, Vuda Circle (L&T) Circle, Near Ratri Bazar, Khodiyar Nagar Char Rasta, New VIP Road , Gadheda Market Char Rasta, Bala Hanuman Mandir, Opposite Popular Bakery, Warasia Road, Near Water Tank, Karelibaug, Golden Silver Char Rasta, Subhanpura, Kunal Chokdi Char Rasta, Next to Gangotri Apartment, Gotri, Vasna Char Rasta, HP Petrol Near Pump, Vasna, Havmor Circle, OP Road, Akota Bridge, Akota Char Rasta, Khanderao Market Char Rasta, Near Mandvi Darwaza, Kaladarshan Char Rasta, Waghodia Road, Soma Talav Char Rasta, Susan Circle, GIDC Makarpura, Manjalpur village, near Hanumanji’s temple, Tarsali Chokdi, at Tarsali.

Around 20,000 free masks were distributed in people by ward presidents, former councilors and leaders.

Vadodara City Congress President Prashant Patel said, in the Corona pandemic, wearing a mask is mandatory and on the other hand, the government imposes a fine of Rs 1,000 for not wearing. For the people earning 100 to 200 rupees per day, the fine is unaffordable.

City Congress President, former Leader of Opposition Chandrakant Srivastava and all Congress members appealed to the people to abide by the law and wear the masks provided to avoid the Rs 1,000 fine. They also appeal everyone to join and participate to keep the city safe.
