Continue their agitation displaced residents of Sanjaynagar gives a memorandum to the district collector regarding their demands of house and rent. The residents demand to provide them 600 square foot house under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna worth Rs. 12 lakhs. They threaten to walk till Gandhinagar to meet the Gujarat CM if their demands are not resolved at the earliest.

Seemabahen Rathore, the women president of Sanjaynagar slum movement committee said, it has been three years since the Sanjaynagar slum was cleared and they are yet to get the houses as promised. As a result they are forced to agitate and now the administration started paying rent. She also allege that only two JCBs are working at the site appear to be just showing them the work.

She also threaten to go to Gandhinagar on foot like the Dandi Yatra to meet the CM, if their demand is not met at the earliest. The movement will continue till all our questions and demands are met, further added Seema Rathore.
