Sanjay RX surrendered before the court on Thursday

Sanjay alias RX alias RDX Ramesh Dave wanted in Mukesh Harjani case surrendered in the court on Thursday.

He with Viju Sindhi and Kalpesh Kachiya is named as the other main accused Anil along witb Alias Anthony Mulchand Gangwani who was earlier arrested by the Vadodara police.

Dressed in blue jeans and jeans shirt he looked calm when he was taken out by the police from the Vadodara court in the afternoon. He surrendered before the court fearing Ill- treatment by the police and also accept his involvement in shooting Mukesh Harjani.

“The accused Sanjay RDX surrendered before the court and accept his involvement in the crime. We wrote in the Surrender application about his involvement and fearing police arrest. He requested the court to protect from the police fearing ill-treatment. We took his custody as he is the main culprit who fired 6 rounds out of 8 and investigating further. After 24 hours we produce him before the court and asked for his further remand,” said M.D. Puvar PI city police station.

Earlier Vadodara police arrested Anil alias Anthony Mulchand Gangwani on 28th October for the murder of notorious gangster Mukesh Harjani on the 20th October. Anthony hired two sharp shooters from Ratlam to fire on Harjani and Kalpesh Kachiya given them 5 lakhs for the Supari. The murder was the fallout after Harjani demanded money from the accused and they showed inability to pay. Police named other main accused as Viju Sidhi his associate and Sanjay RX along with Kachiya and others.

On 20th October 2016 notorious gangster Mukesh Harjani who was out on bail went to a party at Vrindavan Township at Harni Road. Around 11pm the hired sharp shooters fired on him from close range and killed him. The shooters then ran away in a car and two wheelers towards Godhra and the shooters was paid 5 lakhs as (Supari) by Kalpesh Kachiya and Sanjay RX. The murder was fallout of money demanded by Harjani from the accused. Police registered the case under 302, 120B, 114 Arms act 25(1-1)B, 27 in the matter.

After Sanjay RX now two other main accused Viju Sindhi and Kalpesh Kachiya is still at large.
