Gujarat will vote for the second phase on 14th December and with few days remaining the election commission is spreading awareness among people with various programmes. On Sunday the cultural city run for democracy and spread the message in the cold early morning.

With a target to reach 100% voting the Vadodara district collector and election officer P. Bharthi and her team organise various programmes to aware the people to be a part of democracy.

In the series a Votethon (Run for Vote) is organised in the early morning Sunday with collector, municipal commissioner, police commissioner, all observors, all Returning officers , all class one officers and govt offices staff, all police staff, NCC, NSS, MS university students, bank officers, NGOs, medical college students, Ayush Doctors, MO and intern Doctors, Reserve forces, traffic brigades, fire teams, VMSS staff, sports university staff, celebrities of District, Vip, senior citizens, PWDs, trans genders, common citizens and others take part.

The 6.1 kms run started from Sayajibaug and pass through Kalaghoda, Kothi road, Nyaymandir, Sursagar Talav, Jail road, Kalaghoda and ends at Sayajibaug.
