RTPCR of pilgrims coming to Vadodara from Kumbh Mela

District Collector and Municipal Commissioner have planned to set up testing booths at railway station and airport for testing

As part of precautionary steps to prevent the transition of covid, Gujarat government has issued guidelines for passengers returning from Kumbh Mela.

In view of that District Collector Shalini Agarwal organised a meeting with Municipal Commissioner P. Swaroop, DRM, Airport Director, Office of the Commissioner of Police, Superintendent of Police and officials of the health system.

A decision is taken to arrange booths at the airport and railway station for testing of passengers returning to the city or district from Kumbh Mela.

The facility will be set up at the railway station by the corporation for RT-PCR testing of passengers of trains coming from Haridwar to Vadodara. The RT-PCR test facility will also be set up by the corporation for the passengers coming to the airport from Kumbh Mela.
