Ro Ro Ferry will run between Daman Diu – Mansukh Mandaviya

The government is working on development along side Indian coastlines and implement Sagarmala project all across the country. In a recent development Gujarat will soon get another Ro Ro Ferry between Daman Diu after Ghogha and Dahej.

Shipping Corporation out the tender for the same and the dream will soon be a reality. This Ro Ro Ferry will cut down the distance to 196 km from 615 kms from start to end. The time will also be cut to only two hours from the present 10 kilometers.

Union Minister for Shipping Mansukh Mandaviya said the coastline alongside Gujarat is neglected for decades and Ro Ro Ferry like facility will give strength to the development. This will also increase the local employment and save the fuel and time.

He also added that the Daman Diu Ro Ro Ferry will be another feather in the cap of Gujarat glory
