Baroda to host 3rd round of 20th edition of MRF MoGrip FMSCI National Supercross Championship 2019.

Once again the speed loving electric crowd will be in action cheering the riders from all across the country. The event is the 3rd round of the 20th edition of the MRF MoGrip FMSCI National Supercross Championship 2019 going to be held in Vadodara. This will be the 3nd round of the 6 round FMSCI National Supercross Championship 2019 taking the Championship to the most critical midway mark.

This is the biggest off-road 2 wheeler National Racing Championship. GODSPEED Racing, Pune spearheaded by 7 times National Champion Shyam Kothari have owned the rights of organizing this Championship for the last 7 years. This event in Vadodara will be organised by Godspeed in association with BAR presided by Sunil Nigam.

Supercross is a motorcycling sport that involves off-road motorcycles racing on artificially created dirt track consisting of steep jumps and obstacles.

The 20th edition of the MRF MoGrip-FMSCI National Supercross championship has attracted almost 110 participants across the 8 categories in each of their previous events. The third round will be in Vadodara after the first two rounds at Coimbatore and Bangalore. This time the race will be held at a new venue of Navlakhi ground in the city. Riders on Saturday practice on the speed track at the new venue ahead of the race on Sunday.

VADODARA and its electric crowds along with the is a very demanding weather conditions is a venue close to the hearts of all the participants and has thus become an integral part of the MRF MoGrip FMSCI National SX Championship year on year.

The riders and teams are completely focused on getting their set-up, fitness and strategies spot on in order to take full advantage of this spotlight.

The technically demanding track is 800 meters in length, which includes 12 double jumps, a cut tabletop, 1 tabletop, whoops and berms. Shyam Kothari and his team have designed a very fast track this time around which promises plenty of fight on track also making it a visual treat for the spectators.

There are total eight Categories consists of SX 1 (Foreign Open, Group A, Two/Four Stroke, up to 250cc Two-Stroke and 500cc Four-Stroke), SX 2 Foreign Open, Group A, Two/Four Stroke, up to 250cc Two-Stroke and 500cc Four-Stroke), Junior SX, Group A/B/C/D up to 260cc, Indian Expert Class, Group B, Two/Four Stroke, up to 260cc, Indian Expert Class, Group C Two/Four Stroke, up to 260cc, Expert Class, Group C, Two/Four Stroke, up to 260cc, Novice Class, Group C, Two/Four Stroke, up to 260cc and lastly the Locals Class to give platform to the city riders.

FMX show in Vadodara 2018 was the1st time in history that the city of Vadodara witnessed a thrilling ‘Freestyle Motocross ‘ show and it was only fair to give in to public demand and bring this show back to the city. Australia’s top FMX athlete Shaun Webb will be seen performing on a Honda CR 450 and Hannes Ackerman of Germany who will be astride a KTM 450 will be here to perform the most unbelievable tricks and stunts ever performed on motorcycles.
