35 modified vehicles from Gujarat took part on the testing track near Vadodara

Vadodara witness the off road event testing the driving skills of performers coming from all across Gujarat. It's a delight for the sandy areas and sans dunes in the banks of Mahisagar river this Sunday. Around 35 modified 4×4 and SUV's from Gujarat took part in the event testing the driving skills of the participants.

Organised by SPC Bike Sciences, Vadodara Automotive Racing and Vadodara 4×4 Path Finder, the event is known as Umeta Rajwada testing the skills of drivers on sand dunes, muddy patches and inside water. The event held in 5 stages and time based where the participants complete the task in given time slot. They also collected Flags and lollypops to get the chance to hit the jackpot and extra points to win the task.

The Flag off was done by Anirudhsinh Padhiyar as 35 vehicles from Baroda, Ahmedabad, Surat and Ankleshwar took part in the event held in three different categories.

The event is organised in there categories of 1700cc, 1700 to 2500cc and above 2500cc and SUV. The event proves to be a challenging task for the drivers as they drive their modified vehicles in off road events and also gives the onlookers a visual treat to see the 4×4 and SUV's performing at their best to win Umeta Rajwada.

At the end participants from Baroda and Ahmedabad beat the rest to win the task. In the first upto 1700 cc Gypsy, Ajay Amin from Baroda won the event with 350 points followed by Amit Pal from Ahmedabad with 280 points. Rajiv Singhvi from Ahmedabad was declared as second runner up with 260 points.

In 1700 to 2500 cc (Thar) category Sagar Kothari from Ahmedabad was declared as winner followed by Sumeru from Baroda. Samir Brahmbhatt a fire brigade jawan from Vadodara comes third in the category.

Above 2500 cc category Tushar Amin from Baroda wins the event followed by Ramanand Gandevikar from Baroda comes as second. Vipul Patel from Ahmedabad was declared as second runner up. Tushar Amin was declared as Best Off Roader at the end.
