Comes up with main five points agenda
Revival group is all set to contest the Baroda Cricket Association elections and willing to serve the game with transparency. From first phase of stadium they promise to start Baroda Premier League, school tournaments to identify the talents, strengthen the professionals in the association and most importantly maintain transparency everywhere.
After six years the elections for the new body in BCA is finally going to happen on 27th September. Royal and Revival groups are trying their best to woo the voters to vote in their favour and help them come to power. On Tuesday the Revival group introduced their candidates and put forward their plans for the cricket in Vadodara.
"We are trying to complete the first phase of stadium till 2023 and plan to clear the accounts till March 2020. We also plans to introduce Baroda Premier League on the lines of Tamil Nadu and Saurashtra cricket associations. Strengthen professionals in the association, identifying cricketing talents in schools and most importantly maintain transparency in the association," said Pranav Amin candidate for the position of President from Revival group. He also added that their priority is to bring back the money from the BCCI to the association.
They also put forward their achievements during their tenure and promise to continue the same in future. Talking about the candidates Sheetal Mehta is contesting for the post of VP, Minesh Patel for Secretary, Akshat Patel for Joint Secretary and Ajit Patel for the post of treasurer. Other than these candidates are contesting in Apex Council, Finance committee, Ground and Infrastructure committee and Press and Publicity committee.
