Residents of Krishna tower comes under ward 13 boycott the by-elections of the same ward scheduled to be held later in the month. The residents complained of getting polluted water for days and force to order jugs from outside.
The residents put up banners regarding boycotting of by elections in view of not getting pure water for quite some time. They accused the administration for not listening to their pleas and they are forced to buy water from outside. They also said many of the residents are down with water borne diseases and hospitalised.
With no option left they decide to boycott the election going to held later in the month. On Wednesday they gathered outside their residence and shouted slogans against the administration.
“For the last 20 days we are getting polluted water and inspite of various representations the issue is still not resolved. We are forced to buy water jugs and that increased the cost of living. Many of the residents are down with water borne diseases and admitted in the hospital. We decide to boycott the elections in view of our demands,” said Gopal Rajani one of the resident.
