Residents of Kamatipura Fategunj protest against Covid centre assigned to local hospital

Amid increasing Corona cases in Vadodara, locals of Fategunj area protested against allowed a local Siddharth hospital to treat Covid patients. The hospital situated in Kamatipura area and locals demand cancellation of order regarding Covid treatment.

The global pandemic of Corona has taken the entire country into its grip and the administration is working on war footing to eradicate the disease. But so far the disease is not yet controlled. The city witness more than 100 cases everyday and the administration is searching for new centres to treat patients.

However many areas are protesting the Covid care centres due to their positioning at residential area. In one such incident locals of Fategunj Kamatipura area raised their protest against the order to start treatment of patients at locally situated Siddharth hospital.

They said the area has population of over 2000 people and most of the senior citizens and small children living in the area are at risk of contracting the disease. Apart from this delivery is also held at the hospital. They demand cancellation of the order and aggressively protest against it.
