Caught hold of official legs and beg for water

Irked for not getting drinking water for last four months the residents of Hanuman Nagar in Munjmahuda area begged for water from deputy municipal commissioner. They also broke pots inside the office and shouted slogans for give water to them.

As per the details the residents of Hanuman Nagar was not getting water for the last four months and lost their cool on Tuesday. After many representations to the local councillors the locals finally reached the ward 6 office and entered the cabin of Western Zone deputy municipal commissioner Alpesh Majmudar.

They first represent their queries to him but he replied them with the same answers. Later one Prakash Dhakre caught hold of his legs and begged for provide them proper drinking water. Women also joined in and request for resolving the issue at the earliest. The residents also said that they will worship him after their problem get resolved.

The residents also broke pots inside the office and shouted slogans about provide water to them. They also threaten to aggressive protest if their problem is still not resolved by the officials.

Deputy Municipal Commissioner Alpesh Majmudar said the residents approached him for the first time and they take it seriously. First tankers will be send to their area to provide them drinking water and efforts will be on for the permanent solution to this problem.
