The Republican Party has nominated Donald Trump for president of the United States. Trump secured 1,237 delegate votes needed to become the nominee On tuesday evening. And now the New York billionaire has completed a remarkable rise from political outsider to major party nominee for the White House.

New York cast its delegates for Mr. Trump just after 7 p.m. Tuesday, giving him the majority of delegates and crushing, once and for all, the panicked efforts of the “Never Trump” movement inside the Republican Party establishment.

The New York congressman Chris Collins concluded ,“Donald Trump is not merely a candidate. Donald Trump is a movement,”
