40 schools from Ajmer region participate in the event

Navrachana International School, Vadodara hosted the two day  Regional Level CBSE  Science Exhibition with the theme ‘Scientific solutions for challenges in life’ on the 23rd  and 24th  of January. The exhibition is the endeavor by CBSE to promote holistic development of the young budding scientists.

40 schools from Ajmer region participate in the event which was flagged off by Chief Guest, Padma Shri Dr. M.H. Mehta, accompanied by the panel of judges and the school principal  Mr. D’Souza by lighting  the lamp .

The exhibits put up by schools were an eye opener with topics ranging from ecofriendly and sustainable innovations in resource management, waste management, agriculture and organic farming, health and cleanliness, mathematical modelling to transport and communication.

A stupendous presentation was displayed by the students of grade 3 on ‘Harmful consequences of extensive use of technology in our lives’ .These young ones in their own innocent way , through a skit, portrayed the deleterious effects of technology on human relationships.

The Chief Guest Padma Dr. M.H. Mehta addressed the gathering by quoting the achievements of distinguished people , per se, Dr. Rajagopala Chidambaram ,Abdul Kalam and C V Raman. He talked  about how humans have evolved starting from the stone-age to the age of agriculture and industries and also about the country’s quantum leap in the field of Science and technology.

The inaugural ceremony culminated with the rendition of  National Anthem.
