Re poll on Sunday at two booths of Savli assembly seat

Two booths from 135 Savli assembly seat in Vadodara district will go for re poll on Sunday 17th December. 244 Sakarda and 66 Nhara booth will go for re poll on Sunday as the election started there before the mockpoll. However in 230 Pilol booth the counting of VVPAT slip will continue by the election officials.

Election officer Mr. Diwan said Vadodara vote in the 2nd phase of elections on 14th December. 135 Savli assembly seat also went into elections but two of the booths started the election before the mockpoll. 244 Sakarda and 66 Nhara booth started the election before the mockpoll which is against the election rules and both will go for re poll on Sunday. However in 230 Pilol booth the counting of VVPAT slip will be there by the election officials.

He further said that there is 901 voters at Sakarda and 723 voters at Nhara booth where the election will be from morning 8 to 5 pm in the evening. All arrangements are there for peaceful elections on Sunday.

Apart from Savli assembly seat repolling will be there at 11 Vadgam, 39 Viramgam, 57 Daskroi, 22 Visnagar, 23 Becharaji, 31 Modasa, 42 Vejalpur, 43 Vatva, 52 Jamalpur Khadia and 139 Sankheda seats on Sunday.
