Ratanpur, the film is all set to release on 16th March
The upcoming Gujarati murder mystery Ratanpur is finally here. Ratanpur is the movie which was made under the banner of Prolife Entertainment and is all set to release in cinemas on 16th of March. Ratanpur the movie is directed by Vipul Sharma which starts actors like Tushar Sadhu, Haresh Daghia, Vishal Vaishya, Priyanka Tiwari, UdayDangar, Sunil Vaghela, Jay Pandya and many more. The music for this movie was given by Jatin Pratik and the song for this movie were sung by Sunidhi Chauhan. To give a larger than life visuals the song has been shot at the beautiful locations of the desert of Jesalmer and palace of Gondal.
Ratanpur is director Vipul Sharma’s 3rd directorial film After award winning ‘Love Is Blind’(2005) and ‘Deshbook’ (2014). He said, “we wanted to create complete fresh treatment of the movie,..if you see Christopher Nolan’s movies or Maniratnam’s films,..the camera moves and travels constantly for the story telling ,to make an audience thrill, to make them scare, to make them excited ,...a complete cinematic experience,..you will feel the same experience in Ratanpur. All of us want gujarati movies to be like international level,..this is our effort for the same.”
The film Ratanpur was shot in jungles of Gujarat by the film makes just because they wanted to show the reality. The cast and crew of the movie have stayed in the jungles and faced a lot of problem because of the leopard zone, insects and reptiles. The crew members were bleeding in between shots, but this never stopped them from working hard on the movie. The movie was shot under extreme climates. they had shoot outdoors most of the times in the jungles in very hot climates. as well as heavy rain.
The most tragic thing that happened during the shoot was that the villain broke their leg during a fight sequence. Since the filmmakers wanted to shoot the whole fight scene without anybody double, they ended up taking such a big risk. The technology that was used during the movie was much backdated,and this took a lot of time to make the movie. Overall the movie is going to be a full-on entertainment for family and friends and it will bring on a revolution to the Gujarati film fraternity. This movie will be a must watch for all.
