Railways comes to Goyal after cabinet expansion

A total 13 Ministers took oath as PM Narendra Modi's cabinet went on expansion on Sunday. Along with the modification of the Modi Cabinet, 4 existing ministers were also promoted.

After the swearing-in ceremony the question is about the division of departments. Suresh Prabhu has left the Ministry of Railways. Piyush Goyal will be the new Railway Minister. Apart from this, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will also be the Defence Minister. Jaitley will visit Japan for a two-day visit as defence minister.

He welcomed Piyush Goyal as a new Railway Minister and tweeted that, "Welcoming my long time dear friend,colleague @PiyushGoyal to @RailMinIndia.I offer all my help to him to make railways world class.all best".
