A timely and quick response by railway police jawan saved the life of a lady passenger at Vadodara railway station. The woman tried to get down from moving train and slipped. The on duty police jawan caught hold of her hand and save her before any untoward incident.
As per available details the railway LCB police head constable Mahendra Patel was on duty at the Vadodara railway last night on Sunday. Suddenly he saw a family tried to get down from the moving train. First a male get down and control himself from falling on the platform. Following him the woman also tried to get down but couldn't control but luckily hanged on.
Without thinking of a second the head constable support and saved her from getting under the wheels of the moving train. The incident shocked everyone as the woman is risking her life by getting down from a moving train. She later thanked the policemen for saving her life.
Such incidents are eye opener for people who risked their lives by getting down from moving trains or hang on to the doors. A little responsibility from our side can save many lives and also give a helping hand to railway police and administration to serve us better.
