Rag picker youth knocked down by ST bus

A rag picker died after knocked down by a ST bus in the Karelibaug area of Vadodara city on Saturday morning. The youth makes his living from picking the plastic waste from roadside.

As per the details Narayan Vasava 30 residing in Jalaram slums in karelibaug area was making his living by picking up plastics from roadside. On Saturday as per his routine he was picking up plastics from Karelibaug Vuda circle towards Ambe school when a speeding ST bus knocked him down and he died on the spot.

The locals gathered at the spot after the accident and the bus driver also stopped the bus. The people also don’t show their anger towards the bus driver as the youth was from a poor family. The police reached the spot and allowed the bus to continue its journey and send the body for post-mortem. Police registered the offence and further investigating.
